Rogers Launches new Turbo Charged,

Rogers Yacht Design Ltd is delighted to announce a fresh approach to IRC, with the introduction of this new Rogers 46. The first of these new female moulded racing yachts is currently in build at Composite Marine International (CMI) in Thailand, led by Pom Green and John Higham, and is scheduled for completion in May 2006. Rogers Yacht Design is pleased to confirm that Danebury Vineyards have purchased the first of these turbo charged series yachts and that they plan to campaign her on the UK IRC circuit in 2006. Three Rogers 46s have now been sold in the UK with many more pending Worldwide.
This design is more akin to a small TP52 than a traditional IRC yacht, guaranteeing a fast, and controllable ride in a yacht that is less than half the price of a TP52. This new breed of IRC yacht built entirely of carbon/foam/epoxy offers stunning custom build quality at production yacht prices, with a competitive IRC rating, thus proving that you can have your cake and eat it!
The Rogers 46, delivered to most major shipping ports in North America and Europe, is priced at £335,000. Within the high racing specification the following is included: B&G Hercules/ mast wand/ performance processors/ 4 x 20 20s, carbon rig and boom, Harken winches, deck gear and shipping cradle. This price excludes sails and taxes.
